I don’t know any child – girl or boy – who doesn’t love playing with robots – especially ones that transform. Transforming toys have been a childhood favorite for decades, and what makes the T4 Transforming Solar Robot even more special is that it is completely solar powered!
If you’re not familiar with this toy, you should be. The parts are even large enough for younger children to play too. In my book, that’s an A+!
It can transform into 4 different objects:
-
Robot
-
T-Rex
-
Insecta
-
Drill Vehicle
With all these parts and changes it’s amazing what $20 can get you! You can’t put a price tag on your child’s education and fun. However, it doesn’t mean it’s not good if it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Your child will be learning mechanical skills, solar energy, kinetics and so much more!
Now, I don’t know about you, but my kids are hooked on their tablets and other electronics. I think that one of these days, I’m going to pretend the power is out and have them play out doors and learn about solar power! What’s really cool is that OWI actually thought about this and this is what they said:
If your children are glued to smart-phones, give them an opportunity to acquire solar power knowledge, learn about mechanical transmissions, and get them outside to play. Amazingly, you might find yourself engaged in conversation with your child, thanks to their newly acquired “expertise”!
I absolutely love toys that teach, and the T4 Transforming Solar Robot is definitely an educational toy! Check out this awesome video!
It shows all four transformations and how they walk and sound. When I showed the boys all that it could do, they got really excited to play with it when it warms up and the sun is actually shining for more than 5 minutes!
That means that over Easter Weekend, me and the boys will be playing around with solar powered transforming robots! What will you be doing?
